My name is Lori. Born, raised and still reside in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I’m a wife, a mom, a step-mom, a daughter, a sister, a sister-in-law, an aunt, a cousin, a friend – and a writer. Love reading memoirs, autobiographies and biographies – and screenplays. Beverage of choice is a Starbucks unsweetened ice tea, light beer, grey goose or a great frozen skinny margerita. I hate wine, seafood and cheesecake. My favorite place to be is anywhere Chris, Kate, Mia and William are.
Blessed to have a loving family who believe in “following your heart” and dream chasing. Well, most days they do – sometimes, they question my choices (especially my mom – but guess that makes her my mom – and I love her for it). And if they didn’t, they wouldn’t be family, right? We all need checks and balances.
My blog’s purpose is to be the vehicle for sharing the stories I’ve been so fortunate to hear from family, friends and even strangers. The stories that have been an inspiration and helped me to grow along my journey – both personally and professionally. Stories that have encouraged me to live life to the fullest without fear. A film scene or a quote will be incorporated with most posts (I AM studying film, so definitely will be top of mind!) Win and lose, succeed and fail, ready to receive all of it.
